The quintessential Thai experience is right here in Phi Phi island...at least for honeymooners and adventurous travelers...this place has everything from 40 baht massages ($1) to all-night parties and the BEST fried rice I've ever eaten. The place is sensory overload- hardworking hotel staffers cart Louis Vuitton luggage through cramped dirt roads lined with juice stalls and brown babies on bicycles...it is beautiful and sad. It is most known for being the location of Leo DiCaprio's film The Beach...which is probably why there are so many twenty-somethings escaping here for the time of their lives.
