Just Another Manic Monday.

You know when you have a million things to do, but all you can think about is getting back in bed and crawling under a thick mountain of blankets? Yep, it's one of those days. Must be the weather - rain and steel grey skies. Audrey brings a little smile though, doesn't she?

Currently listening to:

Want:Need?

I want these Mara Hoffman thigh high wool knit stockings more than I want food.

But, instead I will focus on finding gifts for my family and friends...as I should :)
Hence, I thought this photo was an appopriate image to keep in mind during the holiday season!

How was your Thanksgiving?

via (ninetenthsofyesterday)

Photos + a long blogpost are on the way! I am back in Philadelphia after a five-day Thanksgiving break in Connecticut and New York spent with my large, loud Italian family. I'm already missing the homemade pumpkin pies, warm oatmeal, and fresh bagels that my grandmother was heaping onto my plate/bowl all week.
Papers, tests, and projects have consumed me once again...

Did you know?

Americans will spend $450 billion this Christmas. It would only take $10 billion to give the world clean water.

Twilight-inspired wedding.

Forget, for a moment, the irritating obsession with Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattison (in his case, rightfully so) that seems to have taken hold of America and consider this: a Twilight-inspired wedding.
Green Wedding Shoes has decided to capitalize on this box office phenomenon by highlighting some of the ways in which this theme could be the most romantic/beautiful/enchanting idea ever for a wedding.

Requirements:
Dense forest
Wooden tables
Red flowers
Hanging Lights
Hot Vampires

How awesome is this skirt by Paul?!

After a long wonderful weekend of being with friends, running errands, planning a party, and finishing mounds of homework before Thanksgiving break, I thought I'd leave you with a few of my (current) favorite things:

1. Do you watch other people in their cars? Andrew Bush does.
4. Do you like graphic design? Actually it doesnt matter, you'll like this.
5. Paul Smith. Just, Paul Smith.

Robert Samuel Hanson

Robert Samuel Hanson has made a great career out of illustrating smart conceptual graphic designs for magazines and other companies. I love these. Check out his work here.

Jackie and I went to South Street yesterday for a trip to Pearl art supplies store. After stocking up on tracers, yarn and knitting needles, we made an executive decision that sustenance was needed. Conveniently, we noticed that there was a Phileo Yogurt across the street. It is the ideal desination for yogurt-appreciation-ists and on-the-go health-conscious dessert connoisseurs alike.
Basically, Phileo Yogurt = heaven.

In case you were wondering, mine had four different types of yogurt + pomegranate seeds, blueberries, blackberries, AND cookie dough bites.

Goodbye Autumn, Hello Winter.

I can almost smell winter. Despite the uncharacteristic sunshine/warmth/t-shirt weather, I know before long I won't be able to leave the house without a coat.

P.S. tomorrow I am hosting a baby shower for my best friend --- I am giddy with excitement. I just bought pink balloons, pink bows, pink wrapping paper, and pink napkins! Can you guess the sex of the baby???
