fall festivities!

A sunny day started with a trip to Johnson's Corner Farm for apple picking and hot cider doughnuts...

...ended with sweet glasses of white wine and delicious slices of decadent cheeses.

Perfect days are all about the simple details.

boredom igniting creativity.

"A punk starts off bored. Boredom is the historically great source of not just mark-making but the full spectrum of creative output."

miles of light.

Beautiful prints melding nature and refinement by Romina Bacci.
Check out her etsy shop here.

Friday night in Saigon. Busy reading this amazing book, taking notes on it (yes, I take notes on books), eating peanut butter off a spoon, and listening to Continuum.
Life is Good.

p.s. the above photo is my current obsession.

foot fetish.

My obsession with photographing hands and feet is weird but not so weird that I won't keep doing it. For years I've compulsively taken pictures of my feet wherever I went, and I just recently got even more obsessed with photographing hands.
Specifically, strangers hands.
But anyway, this obsession is even more surprising to me because I don't even have nice feet. Some people are blessed with shapely, delicate, beautiful feet and toes, but I'm not one of them.
Maybe I'm trying to make a statement about those of us less fortunate in the foot department?...

Above are some of my first foot photographs.
Does it make me weirder that I want to make a collage of all of them?
