It may have been the most poorly-made, sappy romance film of the 70's but Love Story is still able to leave me clutching my tear-stained pillow in a fit of sobs with that final scene where Ali McGraw yells at Ryan O'Neal for crying at her deathbed.
"Love means never having to say you're sorry"...totally stupid, yet totally perfect.
Not only do I love this movie, but I also have the theme song on vinyl. Our blog love comes full circle.
